Chapter 36 -- Short and Happy

The only thing that scares Lukas more than his twins' graduation, the YA birthdays of his triplets, and Adalyn's underwear is this plant.

Quynh gets her diploma later that day along side Edward and her twin Quetzal.

The celebration continues at home with Adamina becoming a YA first.

Adabella sticks with her innocent look as a YA.

Adalyn is last. Lukas isn't sure what to think about everything, except that he's happy she put on real clothes.

As a combined gift, Lukas and Gena purchase a new house for the Quynh and leave their current home for the triplets to populate.

When it's time to leave the old place behind, Quynh and Edward share a passionate moment. They've been sleeping separately throughout their engagement and are excited to start their new life together the next day.

They're probably excited for other things as well.

Lukas makes sure Gena really does like their new place.

She assures him that it doesn't matter where they are, it's that they're together that matters.

The sun peeks over the horizon the next morning marking Quynh and Edward's wedding day.

They'd both been pressured into throwing bachelor/ette parties that afternoon and both are nervous. To take their minds off of everything, Tim bakes them some key lime pie.

Edward makes things worse by talking about children, so Quynh, S, and Gena head over to the triplet's house to get ready for the bachelorette party.

Edward's dad, Ethan, crashes the party while Carter games on his laptop the entire time.

Oh, and this happened too. Autonomously. Even the outfit change wasn't the Watcher's doing.

Some cheerleader strippers show up at the end which causes Tim to crack. Threatening to beat them with his cane, the entire party runs off.

When the men are gone, it's the ladies' turn.

While there are no strippers, Kadance brings her newborn child, and a lot of champagne is wasted.

Even S has the time of her life, regretting not having one of these for herself.

At the end of her party, Quynh sneaks off to have one last kiss before changing into her bridal gown.

The small wedding takes place in their new barn, but to the two of them, no one else is there.

As the newly weds kiss, the guests trickle out, leaving themselves to their bliss.
